Imma just put it like this: get the 3 pack Boudamn Balls (pause) with extra sauce. You could share them, but you won't want to. And you don't have to. Because they are priced (like everything else on the menu) just right. If I had to try and make these myself I doubt I could ever replicate them, which makes them one of those things you wanna tell people about, but not necessarily bless their game with em, unless of course it's the Super Bowl or Thanksgiving. In either occasion, get a whole tray. I guarantee the cell phone videos will be rolling and ppl will politely ask you to pass the plug. That's when you look em directly in the eyes and tell em "Da Seafood Connect" and then let them figure out the rest.
I ordered delivery from here and was extremely pleased. Huge portion and very tasty. The fried shrimp was probably my favorite thing, but the crawfish sauce was a close second. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese, but I should've known from the pictures that it wasn't the best. Nevertheless, I'll be back.
I'm sure when I return to the area they will receive a 5! Y'all ain't never had food this good served from a gas station! I promise you!! The service was fast and you can sit in your car while you wait and they will call you when your order is ready. It was a clean spot and the food was delicious! I was going to order the pasta but then asked the young lady at the front for her recommendations and she recommended the catfish with the sides. And she highly recommended the red beans and rice and broccoli. When I say this broccoli was THE most flavorful broccoli I have ever had! And I dipped it in that sauce that was supposed to go on the fish! C'mon nih! I might go ahead and give them a 5 tbh. And the fish! It was hot and fresh and lightly breaded. So good! So was the rice that was served with the fish. The red beans and rice had chunks of sausage and was delicious! Listen if y'all are anywhere near-you gotta go! As I was writing about my experience I realized they already deserve a 5! Lol
Been following this page on IG for a minute and finally made the time to visit. LOCATION/PARKING It is located in the Exxon gas station. You have a few parking spaces in front of the gas station. WAIT TIME Quick. Plan to place your order within 10-15 minutes. I had a 30 minute drive and placed it when I was headed to the restaurant. I got a call not even 10 minutes after placing through their website that my order was ready! I was shocked at how quickly it was prepared. But I appreciated the notification call. ORGANIZATION/PACKAGING Excellent! I could see the organization while waiting in line. All the prepared online orders were neatly bagged and lined along the back counter. She asked who was here to pick up an order and gave me my order before taking a new customer who was in front of me. I appreciated that as my order was placed online, ready and prepaid. FOOD I ordered: Mocity sweet tea- 5/5 sweet and good, got the 32 oz at $5, she filled it with light ice without me having to ask which I appreciated. Shrimp and crawfish egg rolls- 3/5 only because I love a meaty egg roll. This was heavy on rice. Flavor was good but I felt I was eating a boudin egg roll than a shrimp and crawfish egg roll if that makes sense. Philly cheesesteak egg roll- 4/5 I enjoyed this better than the shrimp and crawfish. Cheese is more like a queso or sauce than melted cheese if that makes sense. Meat is ground not as expected in a Philly cheesesteak. Even though it is an egg roll I still was expecting the meat to be similar to what I'd eat in a sandwich. The egg rolls are huge and actually filling on their own. The $20 boat plate I forgot the full name but I know I paid $20 and it had boat in its name. I had the two fried fish fillets and got potato salad as the side. It comes with rice (slightly undercooked) and Mac and cheese (very creamy reminiscent of stovetop not baked, flavorful though but I didn't care for this as I prefer a baked Mac and cheese, cheesy but dry and has burnt cheese). This wasn't that. The potato salad was good. Fried fish fillet didn't have that crispy cornmeal coating I love and it was heavy on the salt. Not inedible but salty. I would come back. There are other menu options I'd like to try including their chicken wings, strawberry cake and Kool-Aid. I learned that Slap Daddy is a sweet BbQ sauce.
Boiled meats and crawfish felt like home for me! (Baton Rouge) the buffalo lemon pepper felt like my second home (Atlanta) and the smoked turkeys necks were very good as well! To my Louisiana people, here is where you can get "our" crawfish and boiled meats.
